I have a folder of cards started that did not get finished, and my first attempt at making a card went into this folder. I stamped , heat embossed, distressed and inked ... and when this was all done i just couldn't get the card to come together so into the file it went . Attempt number two came together very quickly , which put an end to my frustrations.
The Shabby Tea Room 's challenge gave a photo inspiration as usual but also asked for a flag, pennants or banner. Several attempts at pennants ended up in the scraps file until i saw how beautifully Lea Lawson did her banners and decided to give it a bash.
I am entering in the Shabby Tea Room Challenge (photo below)
As well as Creative Inspirations Anything Goes challenge.
And two Bingo challenges one at Papertake Weekly where i chose Gems , free (the big blue brad) and Lace
and Simon Says Stamp challenge with Flowers, Glitter and brads.
As usual , I love your comments so please let me know what you think.
This is gorgeous,such a pretty card.xxx

Hello Wendy! I think you nailed this, taking your cues from the gingham, the bright red flower laying upon a doily, the bird, the colors, the pennant...beautifully executed! (thanks for popping by my blog; it's so nice to see you!)
