Beautiful

I was wanting to do a Bride and Groom  layout , but for some reason I kept coming back to this lovely photo of my daughter Ashleigh , sitting next to the Bride and decided to use this instead .

I used the sketch at Once Upon a Sketch as my guide and the theme is
' the women/girls in our life'

My journalling is on the back and I have included my sister , Dawn in it as she is such an important part of the 'girls' in my life.

I am also entering the Technique challenge at Scrapbook circle which asks for the use of mediums on  your page. I have used gesso on my background with a hint of colour from my Inktense watercolours.

My use of music in the chippie and washi tape as well as the embossing was to give it a love feeling  with  "if music be the food of love "

So if you love my layout let me know!

  1. Oh, gorgeous journaling & what a lovely take on our OUAS challenge this month! That semi circlet of 'florals' looks brill & I really like how you've incorporated the music at the bottom. Weddings are often a time for reflection, & that's what it looks like here:) Thanks, as always, for joining in & don't forget to do the FB thing, if you want!!!!

It's a lovely layout and really like the music cluster at the bottom. Thank you for popping in on my blog and I do apologise for not coming by here more often. I will fix that straight away!
