Tag Time

I often read that people enjoy making tags as they can use little bits of leftover paper and they are quick to make. I agree with the first statement but I find it still takes me an age to decorate a tag. In fact I seem to be a rather slow crafter full stop , but then its not a production line so I can take my time.

 Loved making this tag which I gave to a friend for her birthday today and now that I come to post it on my blog I see I have the most crystal clear photo but i have chopped off the top "blooms". Too bad I suppose.

 Never the less I like the tag and am entering it in the following challenges which ask for tags.
Divas by Design , Sugar Creek Hollow where the tag must have a vintage or Shabby Chic theme and Cards and Scrap challenge 218 where the theme is Tag It.

 PS Use your imagination about the missing blooms and the seam binding which were inadvertently cropped!

    Oh my gosh! This is soooo pretty...glitzy glam shabby pretty!! Those pearls are really nice & I'm using my imagination....best laid plans, & all that, eh???!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is beautiful even without the blooms and seambinding on top, Wendy!!! Very sweet little roses, lovely lace and I like the pearls!!!! It was worth spending the time to make it!!!

    I agree with you Wendy. Tags can almost take as long as a layout to complete! Or, maybe it's just when I'm the one making them. Lol!
    Your tag is really gorgeous. I'm sure your friend was very pleased. :)
