The photo was taken behind our house in Newcastle on Tyne , England.
I used the mood board at Scrap Around the World for inspiration and have used the colour pink, the flowers featured on the cup cake and the blossoms, the cameo reflects the mannequin and the fabric of the dress the lace on the photo and behind it as well as using the typewriter font on my journalling.
The photos of my layouts seem to have improved a little thanks to tips from local scrapper Denise Van Deventer - but this photo doesn't have the crisp appearance that it has in the "flesh" .
The second challenge is again Scrap Our Stash with their birthday Scrap a thon and this time it is # 4 ribbons/bows and I have two here one in front , and one behind the timepiece.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing older photos scrapped and you did an awesome work with it. Just another tip with your photo...download Picasa to your computer. You can then straighten and crop your photo. When you apply contrast to it, it brings the crispness back.
