I am enjoying my scrapbooking so much. Choosing the picture , remembering the event or moment and then selecting all the lovely papers and embellishments to justify it.
I often look at some of the "skilled" layouts and think if only I was as talented as them - and then I remember these are my moments and that is all that matters.
These photos were taken at one of the many family braais which we enjoyed and are of my sister in law and mother in law.
I especially used these colours as my sister Dawn brought me colour coded Autumn embellishments on her recent visit.
No challenges ... just enjoying the moment this time.
Love the fact that you are enjoying you scrapbooking and you are 1000% correct - it is about YOUR moments! i also look at pages of really talented people and sometimes hear how teachers talk about "wrong" things scrapbookers do - and i want to yell from the top of my lungs - beauty is in the eye of the beholder and MY memories are MINE to preserve in a way that is true to ME! not true to someone else! hope to see you sometime - i think we saw you more when you were living in East London!! xxxxxx
