Blooming charming Saturday

Had a lovely family birthday breakfast in the most beautiful winter sun.
Went to the local market (tiny) and bought some delicious farm butter, homemade pickled onions , cheese  and a fillet steak wrapped in bacon.

At the moment we are sitting outside with a wood fire burning (for the steak) and watching a critical rugby match (the SA girls know what i mean)through the window.

This card was made for my sister Dawns fortieth birthday.
I always find making cards for her extra difficult as she is an  extremely talented artist and she sends me so much stash that i feel i need to use when I make her a card.
I am entering it for the Cupcake Craft Challenge of blooms/charms even though the little bead might not count as a charm.
I am also entering it for the Pollycraft Monday Challenge for Summer  blooms and the Papertake Weekly Flower challenge with the most beautiful flowers as a prize for one lucky carder. (me me me)
Have a wonderful evening.
Hopefully I will be back with another card tomorrow.
I  am going to a local dog show tomorrow and might still have some time and energy left.

  2. I could not leave the TV. Too stressed. But alls good that ends good, or something like that. My team (Bulls) are in the final! Yay us!
Watched some cricket - we should win that one and sone 7's Rugby - we did very well there, in between watching super 14. We are a sport crazy family, what can I say.
