Sometimes life takes a turn and we have to deal with the twists .. but maybe thats for another post .
I had to make a card as my true love turns 50 on the 8 th of August and he has always encouraged me in all my endeavours not just cardmaking so this one is for dave and like all cards that you want to be super special it just doesnt look good enough.
But i am sure he will love it and will get the underlying sailing message which is all that matters .

I am also hoping to be lucky with a challenge or two so I am entering Daves card for the following challenges:
Cas-tastic .bling challengewith the silver paper and the bling sun and i hope the card is simple enough to qualify,the Dutch Dare and PaperPlay
Anything Goes challenge as well as the One Stop Craft Challenge asking for patterns and I have used a sort of check.
Lastly despite the fact i have forgotten to put my sentiment on the card i am sure the 50 indicates the this is a 50 th birthday card so I am also submitting it for the Ooh la la Birthday challenge
