Remembering Sharon

I made this layout of a dear friend who passed away recently . It is a photo of Sharon with her son Christopher. 
This is another reason why I love scrapbooking as it allows you to enjoy and remember moments or people as you are working with the photos. 

 A lovely photo , and I tried to create a soft layout to go with it.

 I am entering in the ARTastic challenge for the first time where the criteria is wood veneer and or birds. My wood veneer is just behind the photo and I have a black honey sucker and a tiny pearly bird on the vine.

    What a really lovely photo to scrap - you are sooo right about the reasons we scrap, too....& it's GREAT to have you joining us at ARTastic.....my favest bit is the way you've coloured up both the frame and the title...they look gorgeous:):)
