Vintage tag

I have been quite busy making my own embellishments and a few tags so was pleased to be able to join in a few Cardie/taggie challenges after receiving motivation from fellow SA crafter Amelia .

It is great to make something so small and to use up some of those ever increasing "scraps" of paper, lace and ribbon .
The challenges I am entering in are Sugar Creek Hollow #89 which in line with the season has a floral theme and entries must be in the Shabby Chic or Vintage style and an old favourite site for me the Allsorts Challenge blog and the theme for week 264 is " how does your garden grow "and the flowers add the gardeny theme (and the bird I think)

So I hope you like my tag!

  7. Gorgeous tag Wendy! Beautiful lace and super distressing! Loving the soft colours too! It's certainly nice to use up one's scraps and bits for tags and cards! I am a terrible hoarder and scrounger when it comes to bits and bobs leftover!!!! ;-)

  9. I am curious about how big it is, there is so much detail. I love that little bird, super cute! Is this a tag that you would put on a gift? (Excuse my ignorance.) Nice to see you make something different, even if clueless me doesn't quite know what I am looking at... it is lovely. :-)
