Light on Me

I am not a poser  and not very photogenic either so unless someone has taken a pic without me knowing they are generally not very good. However I did manage to find one or two nice ones , including this one.

In this picture taken about seven years ago , my daughter Ashleigh ( a poser of the highest standard)is teaching me how to pose . I am supposed to be gazing at a spot above her head and forgetting about the camera.
Not a bad effort I would say.

I have used the Mood Board at Scrap Around the World as inspiration and have used quite a few elements . The colours , the little hearts , the plant pot with a touch of gold and the strips and stripes are shown  in my layers of lace with zig zags of colour.

I am also entering in  challenge 26 at Scrap Africa, which is  chipboard with a difference. My little plant pot , the "me" and the little hearts, the covered buttons  in the corners as well as the lantern are all chipboard dressed up .

Please let me know what you think of my interpretation of the two challenges.

  5. I couldn't agree with you more Wendy. I think our kids generation is just more used to being in front of a camera than we are and I reckon that by the time my grandies grow up it will be second nature to be have pics taken. I like this photo of you I think she did a great job. Such a lovely layout and I love the trail of flowers. Lovely chippies too. Thanks for playing along with us at Scrap Africa.
