I have been following the activities of the Shabby Tea Room blog for some time , love their work ,but for some reason have never joined in . So this is a first .
Sweet Days of Summer - a picture inspiration - handmade flowers and colours of peach, pink, green and neutral is the challenge this week I almost stopped before starting as I could not find any peach card stock (a motivation for buying more card).
A local girl Amelia is a guest DT so this was an added incentive.
I had so much fun making this card , but got so sidetracked with flower tutorials and eventually used one from Colleen Dietrich....and they turned out really well ( thanks Colleen)even if I say so myself.
I am also entering the challenge over at Case Study who are still celebrating their anniversary and the theme is Signature Style - and I just don't have one , as with music I love so many different types , maybe one day when I am big i will find one that just fits. However am posting a card in my style of the moment Shabby Vintagey Chic.
So here is the Photo Inspiration followed by my card.
I am entering in the following challenges"
The Shabby Tea room :Photo inspiration
Case Study Challenge :Signature Style
Creative Card Crew : Handmade Flowers
Papertake Weekly ; Dies to Die for (flourishes from Mariannes Designs and Spellbinders Circles)
Mariannes Design Divas : Anything Goes (flourishes from Mariannes Designs)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that you have time to let me know what you think of my card.

OH, My, Goodness! Wendy, those flowers turned out SOOOO GOOD! ANd it looks like you added some sparkle - pure genius! I love the die cuts on the card, the pretty patterned paper, and the location of each detail. One awesome card! And it's okay that you don't have a particular style. I feel that I don't either, although others may disagree. I go from CAS to a bit shabby vintage. It's fun to try new stuff! Way to go on those flowers, and thanks for the shout out. I appreciate it!
