I have a list of blogs I visit regularly for inspiration and to see the new products available and techniques being used . One of them is Amazing Paper Grace... you have to pay her a visit her style is absolutely her own .
While eyeing out Beccas latest creation Dave called out that we still had loads of 'airtime'left and very little time to use it and I discovered that Becca has a tutorials tab ,
(How I missed it before I have no idea ) and she shares her skills.
I need to digress a wee bit here: when I read your bio's you all seem to have done some form of crafting from a very early age. I did not, I only discovered papercrafts a few years ago. So in the technical department I am meters off the pace (sometimes not even in the starting blocks).
Things like bows are challenging for me ...
So the reason for this rather indulgent post is to highlight the double bow on this card thanks to Beccas Bits tutorial. The amount of timesI paused and rewound this clip should have worn it out and put paid to some of that 'airtime' but the end result was a double bow .
I have since made a triple but will save that for another day.
So have a look at my card and give that bow some lurve.
I am entering 2 challenges today The Allsorts Challenge Blog with a Free and Easy theme and the
Play Date cafes colour throwdown with apologies for the fact that the only yellow I have in my cupboard is 'insipid' not yucky as requested .
So dont forget to comment on that bow please.
Wendy, I love your card and your BOW is just too fabulous. Like you, I am also self taught and only been doing this for a few short years. I know Becca's blog and must admit she has a wealth of knowledge for one to tap into. So pleased you found her in blogland. I think I need to revisit that tutorial again...lol Pop me your new addy in an email, as I still have the EL one, hugs Sharon xx
