Plain and purple and blue

A totally different card this time around as I join in the fun at the Play Date cafe again.

and here is my interpretation
I am entering in the Play Date Cafe challenge , as well as the challenge over at Craft Ann's Challenge which wants a card inspired by an Elvis song.
I (dare i say this) am not a great Elvis fan, I enjoy some of his songs...but was surprised when I googled  "Elvis songs" at how many songs he made .
I chose the song  Violet as I think this fits the card .
It also means i can enter the book club challenge at Daring Card Makers as i use the book The Shrinking Violet as my motivation.

Creative Card Crew asks for a card with no stamps and lastly I am entering  in the Polka Doodles challenge "Spring is Sprung"

So bombard me with your comments ...

  12. Wendy, this is so clean and simple and I LOVE it! Lots of white space is always a fave of mine. Your two pops of color with the flowers are the perfect accents to that embossing folder. I'm glad to see you played with us at The Play Date Cafe this week...I was just thinking about you, and here you are!
