its not hip to be square

Well I have been busy.
Have been looking at so many wonderful cards on different blogs, but am having a problem leaving comments.
I take a while to compose a comment- as I love comments myself so like to leave thoughtful ones- and then DUMDUM nothing happens. It is so time consuming and so frustrating and one of the reasons i appreciate the time taken when I do get a comment.

I enjoy the clean look of this card I made and could use it for different occasions , but I know someone who has been praying for a miracle and think this might show her how much I have been thinking of her.

I have not entered Mojo Monday for ages , and always find the standards of the design team as well as the bloggers extremely high ....but am submitting my card anyway using a different shaped card  as well as the sketch for inspiration.
Have also found two new Challenges, namely Magical Monday Challenge asking for Flowers and Whoopsi DaisyChallenge  for an Anything but Square card and lastly a second entry for Papertake Weekly  with Anything Goes plus flowers.

the sunny version

Well while I am on a roll might try for one more card....

  1. Wendy, I like your take on the Mojo Monday sketch. The not-quite-square look mounted on a larger piece with large scallops....different and unique and fresh!

I have a challenge for you to check out: The Play Date Cafe. It's a weekly color challenge, so the sky's the limit for how you want to layout your card. Here's a link: http://www.theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/

Hope to see you there! ANd thanks for leaving a comment today on my WHimsical Village card. :D

  8. I read your bit about struggling to post comments, they seem to have changed the log-in system slightly, so I also struggled a little.

  10. Lovely card. Wish I could find more time to comment and to post, but sadly, not right now. My girls at school (50 of them) are all blogging as a creative writing exercise, so I have to read 50 blogs and comment on each one every day for 30 days. I am starting to think this was not such a great idea, but when I see how much fun they are having, I know its worth it.
