I used a whole lot of new goodies on this card, namely my Martha Stewart punch , my new embossing tools (purchased at Scrapbook Studio in Jeffreys Bay)as well as my new Hero Arts stamp set , a gift from my sister Dawn who feeds my card addiction with regular parcels from the Netherlands.
I have never heat embossed before and have not quite mastered the technique , but think the flourish on this card has an arty feel to it?
Oh well as the song goes things can only get better....
I discovered the Play Date Cafe challenge site through a comment on my blog and this week the challenge is combined with one at the Case Study Challenge.
There are some wonderful cards for inspiration on both these blogs and they are well worth a visit. I am sure like me you will 'recognise" some familiar faces.
I am also entering in the following challenges:
Crazy 4 Challenges C4C75 which wants dies used on your card (my ovals)
The Allsorts Challenge blog wants a card inspired by Nature and Totally Gorjuss wants to Check it out with some checks on your card.
Please leave a comment should you have the time , and take a look at some of my other cards as well.
