a lighter shade of purple

Hi there all , hope those of you in countries that are experiencing winter are warm and cosy?!
I am sitting outside on what has been a cool Summers day with the wind blowing and the smell of rain in the air.
It feels good to be back posting cards again and receiving comments.Isn't it amazing how we love appreciation of our work.
I made a card for a family friend the other day and was really not happy with it, felt it looked "plat" (flat and lacking something) yet both my Mom and daughter said it was the best card I had ever made and the next one I made for them must be like that..It doesn"t fit with any of the challenges so I will have to save it for another day.

This card actually is a stunning purple hue , but despite several photo takes and edit after edit , it still shows up as blue.
The colour of the card is the same as the embellishments ,so please use your imagination.
I am entering it for the following challenges:
Creative Card Crew have an "Anything goes Challenge and both Papertake Weekly and Simon Says ask for Christmas cards with no red or green.

Lastly the Allsorts Challenge  blog is asking for Last minute Christmas cards.
Thank you for visiting my blog during the week, i hope you will leave me a comment this week as well.
Take care

  1. I hate it when purple does that on a photo. Good thing most of us have a great imagination. Your card is beautiful.

  2. Hi Wendy,
This is a very pretty card. I love the simple layout and the glittery lettering is fabulous. I love it.
