stairway to heaven

Do you remember the song title of my post?
Stairway to Heaven, Led Zeppelin ?
If you do you could either be a kind of oldie like me or a youngie that just appreciates good music.So many of the songs from that era just never age or lose their popularity.

I really love making cards but am not as adventurous as some of the crafters out there. Every now and then I see something that really motivates me to try it , like the way Debby 4000 displays her images .....I will be trying that......have a look at her blog and you will see what I mean.
I saw a card this weekend that inspired me to try something new. It was a step card on the Penny Black Saturday Challenge made by Cynthia .
I had great fun making it and although this is the basic one I will try my hand sometime at the more complex ones.

Again my photographic and lighting skills let me down but the card turned out  A okay.
Let me know your views on my step/stair card .
I am entering in the following challenges:
Crafty Cardmakers ...2 challenges are on the go, namely-Step Away from the Square and the spotlight challenge Fancy Folds and my card is a qualifier for both.
The Penny Black Saturday challenge is to use 2 images and that I have done.
For Fun Challenge asks for something new and this fold is a first for me .
CRAFT Challenge is asking for a shaped card ,does this count , not sure
Boot me off if I have bent the rules
Second lastly I hope my tree,and Autumn colours will allow me to enter once again for the Penny Black at allsorts Autumn Challenge and last but not least the Allsorts Challenge  Song title Inspiration Theme.

    Wow, what a great card, it looks pretty adventurous to me with all those folds. Thanks for joining in at CRAFT challenge, don't worry it does count as a shaped card, your finished creation is defiently not a square or a rectangle shape. Good luck. Sharon x
