However , when I was looking for a new blog background , the Autumn scene looked so warm I had to choose it.
The area where I live namely East London in the Eastern Cape does not have the colour contrasts in Autumn that other areas , and other countries do , so I was inspired to find as many Autumn challenges as I could and use those gorgeous colours ... warm browns and reds.
I discovered many new Challenge sites on the way and am able to join some of them this week!
I have made two totally different fall cards and here is number one......
Unfortunately the colours are not showing up as the rich browns that they are , so you will have to use your imagination a wee bit.
I am entering into the following Fall challenges:
Simon Says Challenge...It's Autumn
For Fun Challenges Fall
Penny Black At Allsorts Colours of Autumn(i so want to win that Winter Song stamp)
Stampin for the weekend Autumn Inspiration
and two non autumn challenges-
A Spoonfull Of Sugar asks for Spots and Stripes and Everybodys Art Challenge.
has a Friends theme.
(Is anyone else having problems where certain web sites are aborted ,it's happening to me all the time with regular sites?)
Let me know what you think .....
Autumn does rather dominate blogland just now but the colours is evokes are so warm and lush. You really have taken Autumn to a south African Spring with this fabulous card. Thank you for sharing with us at Pennyblack @ Allsorts and goodluck. Don't forget you can use those papers again if you have more pennyblack stamps and enter again we have a weekly prize as well as the monthly one. xx Zoe

Hi there
ReplyDeleteReading your post is interesting because it's so easy to assume everyone has Autumn which as Zoe says does rather dominate blogland.
But it is so nice to see others people take on the season and you ahve done a great job here.
Thank you for joining us at Penny Black at Allsorts this month and good luck.

Hi Wendy (aka Chillipip)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post to read. You will soon have spring and summer to look forward to .. .. we will have autumn and winter. I am not an autumn fan - except for the fact that it brings beautiful colours (as your lovely blog background shows). I much prefer the seasons where I don't have to wear a coat outdoors though LOL!!!
The card you have produced for this post is lovely. Such a cute image and great backing papers and layout.
I love your little leaves too.
Thank you for sharing with Penny Black at Allsorts this month.
Love Jules xx
