Well I struggled ny mealie off with this card. It just wouldn't co-operate with me.And to top it off I badly wanted a bow on it, as on the sketch ,but I can,t tie a "nice" bow so I watched a few easy bow tying videos , swore a lot (not very bad words)and then just stuck some ribbon on.
Think it came out okay but would have looked better with a bow.
I am entering it in the Penny Black Sketch challenge, the Creative card Crew Dotty challenge(actually this card made me dotty),the Allsorts challenge which asks for spring colours and lastly the Copic Color challenge and this time I had one of the colours namely Spectrum green.
Have a look at these blogs they are great fun and have great cards for inspiration.
Am going to try and make one more card and then lounge with a book .
Have a good week .
What a beautiful card, love the colors you used. Don't think it looks like the bow is missing, think it is perfect!
ReplyDeleteJust stopped in to thank you for visiting my blog and entering my candy giveaway.
Hope you visit again.
Very nice card, it looks good without a bow.
ReplyDeleteThe dots are fun. Thanks for popping by my blog.
Love your card, I don't think the missing bow is serious. The dots are fun. Thanks for popping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy, lovely card. I have a wooden ribbon-ma-gig which I purchased from Charmaine's. It is wonderful and has 2 pegs with 4 holes, so you get to decide how big or small you want your bow to be. Let me know if you'd like one and I'll pop around next weekend to get you one. Will make your life a helluva lot easier... and you won't need to swear, I promise...lol Hugs Sharon
